How to go from being successful but losing fulfillment and joy to mastering happiness as a skill and building a lifetime of true success
without leaving your career, abandoning your dreams and losing what you've built
All high achievers go through this.
No exceptions.
I’ve been there, maybe three times in a significant way.
This malaise all high achievers share usually comes from a restless energy, a persistent curiosity, and a desire to explore what else is possible. We feel unfulfilled and yearn for a “more” in what seems, at times, obsessive ways.
We suffer because we too seek acceptance with others and belonging just like everyone else, which inevitably requires a level of conformity to everyone else’s way of being. It requires fitting in; only we don’t quite fit in. Not really. The pursuit of “more” prevents keeps us from it.
We often hurt, or at the very least confuse the people we love by bulldozing through their objections and feelings. Marriages and friendships can get strained, we get beat up by one thing or another in the life of an exporer we feel called to, and we find ourselves uninspired, unfulfilled or stuck.
Do we stop pursuing that “more” to fit in, to conform to the norm? What is normal anyway? Or do we continue to explore to our detriment? How long would we last in this mode, realistically speaking?
To the companions, spouses, partners, and friends of high achievers, I say this - you’re not crazy, they are weird, but we need them in our lives. To the high achievers, I will say, yes, you are weird, and you are a gift to us all.
I love you, I get you, and I am you. I want to help you as I have been helped. This is why I have developed a free masterclass for you, mapping out the framework I’ve used to mentor and coach high-achievers for 25 years. It has helped me find peace, flourishing and lasting happiness. It has also helped me live out my “more” and love every minute of it.
Here it is. In just 23 minutes, I hope it gives you some clarity and inspiration for what “more” may look like in your life.
If it does and you feel you may be a good candidate to be part of the program, I would be happy to discuss it, just book a call and we can chat.
If you watch the video and a face or name pops up in your head, someone you care about, who needs to hear this, please forward this post to them.
For the rest of us. Keep exploring and may our “more” be a noble and fulfilling pursuit.
